INTRODUCTION

The Shaikh Family of South Sindh has prepared this website to keep a record of the family history and have a family tree for future generations.

The family tree has been made possible by the active assistance of many third and fourth generation Shaikhs. Their work and contributions have been recognized in the Acknowledgment section of the website.

The Shaikh Family tree begins with Mohammad Ismail Shaikh. Please see his biography by clicking [Here] or Biography In Menu bar . Unfortunately there are no photographs or written notes about Mohammad Ismail. Various accounts narrated by word of mouth by the third and fourth generation Shaikhs are included in the biography.

Mohammad Ismail's name before conversion to Islam was Isaac Reuben. This was confirmed by many third generation members of the Shaikh family and a reputable Sindhi Magazine of that time. Future generations are requested not to make any changes in historical facts due to political reasons.
